The Father Raised Jesus
"Jesus answered them, 'Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.' The Jews then said, 'It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?' But he was speaking about the temple of his body."
John 2:19-21
Argument:
- In John 2:19-21, Jesus said that He would raise Himself up but Galatians 1:1 says that the Father raised Jesus.
Rebuttal:
- If Jesus is God, and the Father is God and the Holy Spirit is God, and God rose Jesus from the dead, then there is no contradiction here
- The Father raised Jesus
- "Paul, an apostle—not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead" Galations 1:1

- The Holy Spirit raised Jesus
- "If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you." Romans 8:11
