  1. Holocaust leads to worldwide sympathy, resulting in transition to homeland
  2. 1948 – recognized as Israel as a nation – 5k square miles of territory minus Jerusalem
  3. Israel attacked by surrounding nations, increases in territory
  4. Russia was sympathetic in beginning, USA becomes principle benefactor
  5. Israel becomes stronger and more established
  6. Israel’s military becomes stronger than surrounding nations
  7. Arab powers opposing Israel keep her from having peace
  8. Israel continues in state of unrest, until church is raptured

Future

  1. Formation of 10 nation confederacy by a Gentile ruler in Middle East, Israel must accept a 7-year peace settlement
  2. World celebrates what appears to be a permanent peace in the Middle East
  3. Israel prospers and many return to Israel after peace settled
  4. Towards close of 3-1/2 years of peace, Russia with several other nations try to invade Israel but are destroyed by God
  5. After 3-1/2 years of peace, covenant is broken, Middle East ruler become dictator of the world and prosecutor of Israel
  6. World dictator desecrates temple of Israel and makes idol of himself for worship
  7. Worldwide persecution of Jews begins, and in the land 2 out of 3 perish
  8. Jewish remnant that puts trust in Christ emerges
  9. World ruler massacres Jews and Gentiles who wont worship him, some rescued by Christ
  10. 2nd Coming of Christ rescues persecuted Jews and Gentiles and brings judgement
  11. Promised kingdom on earth – with Jesus as Israel's Messiah and David as her regent Prince – begins with godly Israel being regathered form all over the world to inhabit her Promise Land
  12. For one thousand years Israel experiences blessings
  13. With end of millennial kingdom and destruction of present earth, godly Israel has its place in the eternal state and the new heaven and the new earth
  14. Those among Israel who are saved are placed in the New Jerusalem in the New Earth
